This is the last pic from my portfolio. Its a drummer of Air pregroup - We Fell To Earth. The whole concert was awesome but unfortunately there wasn’t much attendants. I really like this guy…I mean…look at him :D
This is the oldest pic in my portfolio dating back to May 2006. I just barely got my Canon 20D and Canon 50/1.8 back then and didn’t have a clue what ISO, aperture or shutter time stand for nor how to approach concert photography. I think this is just one of those lucky beginner shots you get that gets you going later on.
Like yesterday and a while ago, here is another photo from the amazing performance of The Prodigy at Exit ‘09. This here is Maxim Reality or Keith Andrew Palmer - the singer/MC of The Prodigy.
I simply love this photo - Maxims silhouette is looking directly in my camera, pointing at me with his finger in front of a bright blue light on a dark blue background with a violet fog.
The only way it could get any better would be with removal of the cymbals but I didn’t want to post-product this photo.
One of my favorite bands - The Prodigy - and their EPIC laptop “TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL”. Of course, pic was made on Exit ‘09 where I was one amongst 10 chosen photographers (out of about 150) allowed to take pics of the Prodigy from the photo pit for 3 songs. I still remember the ecstasy I got when i received a SMS telling me I was 1 out of 10 ^^
This is one of the most interesting pics I ever made. I was shooting Gorillaz Sound System when I looked upside on the opposite side of the stage and saw a really tall building. Immediately I went to the entrance, explained my wishes to the security guard and he let me go up on the roof. This is the result - stage, lights, crowd, car trails,… it all makes sense from above.
After a while I continue to describe my portfolio pics. Todays pic is one of my favorite DJ photos — it features DJ Sylvain in front of a rainbow like light. It was totally awesome in real and it’s totally awesome on this pic ^^
This was taken a couple of minutes after the yesterdays one. As I said Elvis Jackson are totally crazy and one of their specialities are “inflated beach thingies” and interestingly enough - concert people always find new ways to use it.
