Yesterday I was just teasing but today I present the edited pics of the Mercedes W123 by mlacart.
Gallery after the jump…
I did a fun little photo shoot today for my friend. He is actually the guy behind the mlacart trademark - you might remember the Citroën DS we did a while ago. This time we were shooting his car - awesome Mercedes W123 old-timer he renewed a while ago.
This is just a quick pick photo - unedited and all - just to tease you a little. :P
Sorry, Tumblr, I’ve been slacking. This is one of the rare pics in my portfolio that had undergone more than 5 min of Photoshop. I keep all my photos as real as possible - all I do is some levels adjustments and maybe cropping and thats it. But here the client (make-up and fingernails specialist) wanted her work to stand out. Shooting was done inside someones living room in under half an hour so we were really rushing things. No artificial lightning was used so I really like the result.
This was made a couple of hours ago for album artwork purposes for a new band called 2Phat Generation. From left to right we have Jure Rozman, Anže Langus Petrović - Dagi and Igor Matković. Here is just a lil’ teaser of one song from the album - Illusions.
Yesterdays story continues into the night when all artists of Kranjski mixtape were united. The point of this photoshoot was that everyone gets pictured next to something remarkable in the close area of where he lives. They are all scattered around city of Kranj so the only reasonable group photo location was in the town center. From the technical view: this was all done using one (1) on-camera flash and one (1) relatively small reflector in 3 hours - remember I first had to shoot all individually on different locations and then all together. You can see the complete shooting here.
About a year ago an old friend called me and said they are making mixtape with many artists and that they need a photoshoot. So we got together one afternoon and took a whole lot of pics and this is one of my favorites. In the background is the Vodovodni stolp in Kranj which used to serve as the main water tower for the whole city. They really wanted to make the guy look enormous so I chose this spot and perspective and I really think I got what they wanted.
